Geothumbs v5.0 warning

Warning:
There is a bug in the latest version of Greasemonkey that could cause this script and others to disappear. If you installed v5.0 of Geothumbs when running Greasemonkey 0.9.8 or 0.9.9 and subsequently updated to Greasemonkey 0.9.10 or 0.9.11 you will find that Geothumbs and possibly other scripts will stop working. This problem will affect all scripts that use the @match tag in their metadata (Geothumbs uses this tag) AND were installed prior to Greasemonkey 0.9.10.

If you have this problem then the simplest fix is reinstall Greasemonkey 0.9.8 until the bug is fixed. DO NOT reinstall any scripts if you find them missing. If you do Greasemonkey will permanently remove ALL your other missing scripts and then you will then need to reinstall them.

Alternatively if you want to run with the latest Greasemonkey the simplest option is to edit the Greasemonkey configuration file in the Firefox profile directory. The instructions for windows users are:
Exit Firefox and then open windows explorer and paste the following into the address/location box %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ . Here you will see a directory like a12b3cde.default. Go into this directory (or the most recent one if you find more than one ??????.default directory) and then go into the gm_scripts directory. Now edit the config.xml with Wordpad (or similar, but not notepad) and remove any lines starting with <Match> and ending with </Match>. Save the file and restart Firefox. All your scripts should now be working.
